I would rate Dreams Puerto Vallarta 4 out of 5 stars. Most of the staff was great...there were the few that were not too accommodating. Pools are on the small size...but, the resort is not all that big so it works. The beach is beautiful. Very large, and lots of opportunities to go out on the water trampoline, iceberg, kayaks, snorkel, etc....
Our favorite restaurant was the Seaside Grill. The coconut shrimp for an appetizer was delicious. We really enjoyed the entertainment staff...Tony, Alex, Abel...they were all great and went above and beyond. This was our first trip to Mexico to take our children...they LOVED it! This is a great resort for families....if you are going just as a couple...Im sure you would enjoy other resorts just as well...I would suggest any of the Excellence properties.

Release baby sea turtles into the sea!
Children can join the festivities in September for our ‘Dreaming of Freedom’ turtle program, where more than 500 baby sea turtles will be released into the sea in a special ceremony to coincide with the full moon. The resort carefully guards the eggs in an area protected from elements of nature and human exploitation until they hatch. The Explorer’s Club staff will register guests and oversee the release operation. A photographer will be on hand to catch the turtles (and guests) in action and children will receive a certificate of adoption from the resort.
During the breeding season from November to February, sea turtles return to the beach they were born on to lay their eggs. Their numbers have been severely depleted over the last twenty years and the staff at Dreams Puerto Vallarta work very hard to protect these magnificent reptiles. The resort works closely with the local authorities to support their efforts and to help gain public awareness. Educational programs are held at the resort for associates, guests and visitors.
Explorer's Club for Kids (ages 3-12)
Our fully supervised children's program will entertain the little ones with a different daily program based on science, nature, and exploration.
Stargazing Rock n’ Roll Party
