Temazcal treatment

The resort was very nice, and extremely clean. The pools are vast, and spread throughout the entire property. The food is excellent especially at Chez Isabelle(French). We enjoyed fresh fruits, lobster, grouper, filet mignon, and even pizza during our stay. The beach has the soft white sand that keeps us coming back to this area, with the only flaw being a barrier reef where the sea and ocean meet that contains a lot of growing seaweed which does wash inland during windy days. I still went swimming in the ocean, however it's not like Playa Maroma, or Playa Secreto. I would recommend this resort, in fact we may be a repeat guest, which we have never done before.
I have stayed at the Gran Sirenis, El Dorado Rayale Casitas, Secrets Maroma, and the Valentin Imperial. My wife and I both liked the Excellence Club Swim-out Suite. Juan Jose, the bell boy in the club was definately an asset to this resort. He would go out of his way to make sure we were happy, which is very important on a vacation. My only suggestion is, that if at all possible, book 10-12 days when going. The first and last days are a wash and it takes 2 or 3 days to get comfortable, and really start having fun! I will continue to use Berwick for any future travel. I actually took advantage of the price match guarantee without any hassle, and saved almost $300 a month after booking the trip.

Everything about Excellence Riviera Cancun was superb! The quality and depth of detail was the best. We would especially like to mention a few employees who we directly interacted with. These individuals worked hard to maintain the high standards that the resort projects. Karen in the spa went out of her way to show us around and explain all of the spas offerings when we just asked her for directions to it. She was already leaving the spa, probably on her break, when she walked us back to it and showed us around. Inocente on the beach was excellent. In the restaurants: Antonio, Xavier, Juan Pablo, Abraham and chef Luis, Marco, Roberto to name a few. They were all excellent, professional and friendly.
We would definitely recommend this resort to others. Kelly at Berwick Travel was excellent. She gave us quick answers and good advice. Her customer service was excellent. The travel documents were well organized and allowed us to follow our itinerary with ease. Please keep us in mind for any upcoming specials at any of the Excellence resorts. Thanks!
