The Iberostar Grand Bavaro in Punta Cana was FANTASTIC! From
the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, we never
wanted for anything. The staff at IGB anticipated anything we
might want and had it there waiting for us. We were greeted
with lavender dipped ice cold towels when we stepped out the
van and immediately escorted in where we were handed a glass of
champagne AND pina coladas. Check in took all of 5 minutes and
then we were taken to our room where our personal butler for the
week greeted us, showed us around and ensured we had all the
dinner reservations we wanted.

Inclusive hotel in Punta Cana, offering the premier component of our Grand collection.
 The Iberostar Grand Rose Hall features 260 suites, 13 oceanfront Grand suites and 1 elegant presidential suite.
All suites have an intimate whirlpool overlooking the balcony for a breath-taking view of the ocean or gardens. They are equipped with AC, Plasma TV with DVD player, CD clock/radio, safety box, telephone, iPod/MP3 compatible docking station.

“All Inclusive” service including all meals, entertainment, activities and a great deal more. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the main buffet. Breakfast and lunch are also offered at the Snack Restaurant located by the pool.
All Inclusive service, 24 hours a day: mini-bar, room service and butler. Buffet
Restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering a variety of Jamaican and
International dishes. For dinner, there are 4 a la carte restaurants with different
specialties (reservations required, dress code applies): Gourmet, Japanese, Steak
House and Italian. We also have 6 bars, serving International and domestic beer
brands and fine wine, plus Premium brand liquors. Additionally, guests enjoy dine
around privileges throughout the entire Rose Hall Beach & Spa Resort. (Previous arrangements needed.)

of the restaurants and the buffet. If you wanted it, but didn't
see it, all you had to do was ask and they'd make it for you.
The pool was cool and delightful with a great pool bar staff.
(Hi Leonardo & Leyle) The beach was just beautiful and had bar
and towel service all day long. No need to get up early for
pool or beach palapalas, there was plenty all day long.
The
star friends (employees) became friends immediately (say hello
to Conan, Miguel, Kassandra and Evelyn if you see them) and we
felt like family when we left. Really, there's just too much
great stuff to add it all here, as I could go on for days!
And Kelly at Berwick was just awesome. From first contact to
the day we left, she stayed in touch with us, ensured any
requests were met and made the entire experience such a
delight. Thank you Kelly for a great vacation!

Hi Susan - We miss Punta Cana already! The Iberostar Grand Bavaro was absolutely wonderful. The best all-inclusive we have been to. It has spoiled us! The food was great. I hate to say that I almost got tired of eating grilled lobster tail, king crab legs and stone crab claws for both lunch and dinner.
The service was excellent and attentive. The staff were friendly. The enterntainment was excellent.
The only shortcoming was that we were initially placed in a 4th floor room on the east side of the hotel that overlooks an undeveloped lot. The view was very undesireable. We talked with the front desk and the second day we were moved to a 4th floor room that overlooked the pool and had a beautiful ocean view. We would have been very disappointed had we been unable to relocate rooms.
The rooms and hotel are beautifully appointed and decorated. I highly recommend this resort. The beach is great. We took 6-8 mile walks everyday. We checked out a lot of other hotels in this area trying to find a resort that appealed to us that allowed kids. We did not see anything that interested us.
We would like to go back to Dominican Republic and would be interested in your suggestions on other all-inclusive resorts (La Romana, Bayahibe, Puerto Plata, other areas of Punta Cana) that allow teenagers.
Again, the Iberostar Grand Bavaro is a real gem, a 20 out of 10 - FABULOUS!
