“Hot tubs and Hammocks” is how one of our guests summarized the atmosphere at El Dorado Casitas Royale. We concur. Rest, relaxation and romance is our motto and it was weaved into every aspect of the property including the suites, as this is an all suite resort.

CASITA SUITE
This suite offers table with 2 chairs, indoor Jacuzzi, private terrace with hammock, and outdoor shower with waterfall effects. Along with all the standard furnishings, the Casita Suites feature high ceilings with a thatched roof. Special treats include: DVD library, upgraded amenities kit, aromatherapy and pillow menu in room, exclusive concierge service 9am-6pm, lounge, guaranteed seating for specialty restaurants and turn down service. This category is oceanfront. Bedding: 1 king bed.

INDIVIDUAL CASITA SUITE
The Casita Suite comprises a separate, secluded area of the hotel. It is distributed among one or two story buildings and are uniquely designed combining elements of luxury, space and local craftsmanship. This suite offers 1 king size bed, table with 2 chairs, indoor Jacuzzi, private terrace with hammock and outdoor shower with waterfall effects. The Infinity Pool Casita Suites enjoy ultimate privacy, stunning views of the Caribbean Sea from the 2nd level and their own private infinity pool. 1428 square feet. Indulge yourself with daily gourmet breakfast in your terrace, additional amenities for entertainment such DVD's, table games, personal snorkel equipment, iPod, international magazines, daily newspaper, amenities kit, suncream, bathrobes, slippers, aromatherapy & pillow menu, daily stocked minifridge (snacks, juices, domestic beer, light beer, soft drinks, water), 24 hours room service, safety deposit box, direct dialing telephone. Along with all the standard furnishings, the Casita suites feature high ceilings with a thatched roof, double sink, full bath and shower, an ocean view indoor Jacuzzi, an oversized balcony with breathtaking views of the Caribbean and a DVD player with a selection of some DVD's. We know that there will be days or special occasions when you will not feel like visiting one of the restaurants. For those special moments we have a 24-hour room service available (please see restaurant section for room-service menu). In the room, a refrigerator is stocked and replenished daily with water, soft drinks and beer.

Lastly, perhaps the most unique and popular attribute of the Casita suites is the open air shower, which we call Aguas del Amor. It is truly an inspiring experience to take a moonlit shower under the stars. Regardless, however, of which room-type you select, we promise that your stay will be as comfortable and pleasant as we can possibly make it. Located in the center of the property, the El Dorado Casitas Royale spa was created with the same motto of rest, relaxation and romance. Reservations
How early should you arrive for your appointment? Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment. We also recommend that you take a 20-minute sauna or steam bath prior to your treatment(s).
Cancellation policy
As a courtesy to our other guests and our therapists, we require a 12-hours notice for cancellations or for appointment changes. Without this advance notification you will be charged 50% of the scheduled treatment(s) fee.

When making your appointment please be sure to let us know the gender preference of your therapist. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

We would not have been happy with the basic room and restricted property access. The resort was beautiful- landscaping perfect and everything was very clean. The staff was great- very helpful and happy. We are not pool people, but we were at the beach everyday. The water is rocky as has been mentioned, but there was easy access without having to wear watershoes. The "whales" everyone seems to complain about were a total non-issue. It's great that they are trying to protect the shoreline. Food was great at every restaurant- the Italian may have been the frontrunner, but they each had wonderful food. The guacamole and pico de gallo (?sp) was fabulous! Bars and bartenders were great too- Cesar at the Graviotas Bar was our best buddy! Yoga lessons every morning at the beach with Paty were fun too. We would love to go back (only to a casita room) and would highly recommend it to others. Kelly at Berwick answered all our multiple questions before we decided on a resort and kept us up to date with details for payment, etc. I also liked the travel pouch that arrived with our documents- very easy way to keep everything together.

El Dorado Casitas Royale was absolutely amazing. From the moment we stepped into the lobby until the time we left we were constantly saying wow. I've never seen a more well maintained property and the best part was they maintained it without the use of tons of power equipment so there was no noise.
The staff at El Dorado Casitas Royale were some of the best people I've ever come in contact with. Whether it be the gentleman watering the lawn or the bartender, or the waiter, they were all wonderful. You couldn't walk past them without an "hola" coming from them before you could even form the word. Our favorite staff members were Enrica, our bartender, he was truly awesome and a lot of fun. Our beach butlers, Marecio and Ignunsio, were hilarious and kept us in whatever we needed so we could just lay there on the beach and relax. Our beach waiter, Cindy, worked extremely hard, she was quiet but remembered what drink you enjoyed. Every single waiter and hostess was great but I think my favorite hostess was at La Fondue. She was lively and having fun.
El Dorado Casitas Royale's food was simply amazing. We ate to our hearts content and our bellies were about to explode with joy. My favorite for breakfast was Cocotal. I never knew there could be so many choices for breakfast! You could truly hurt yourself eating there every morning! The only questionable meal I had involved shrimp and the waiter was more than happy to rectify the situation. All I can here is be ready to try different foods and love them!
The pool outside our room was great. We did have a little trouble one day when it became overrun with some folks from the Royale but that was taken care of and they didn't come back. The pool was clean and the water was warm, it was great.
I loved El Dorado Casitas Royale's beach beds! My husband and I are somewhat fair skinned and burn easily but when we were tired of the sun but didn't want to go in we just hit the beach bed. Next time I go I will take water shoes since it is a bit rocky.
I would most definitely recommend this resort and this travel agency to everyone I know. I would rather do this resort than a cruise anytime. Susan with Berwick Travel was wonderful at explaining everything to me and taking care of everything so that we felt comfortable.

We got married at the El Dorado Casitas Royale in 2005, so we had been looking forward to going back. It was a as wonderful as we had remembered. The food was excellent, the service impeccable and friendly and the grounds were still beautiful. I have recommended El Dorado Casitas Royale to other people and they have enjoyed it as much as we did. We will go back again and would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for a low-key, relaxing vacation in a beautiful place.
