Breezes Runaway Bay Accommodations

The NEW Breezes Runaway Bay features 264 rooms including 30 brand new ocean front rooms & suites and 234 newly refurbished guest rooms & suites. All rooms are air conditioned with private balconies overlooking our lush gardens or pool. Equipped with radios, CD players, alarm clocks, satellite TV, safety deposit boxes, hair dryers, iron & ironing board, coffee makers in the bathrooms, telephones.

Breezes Runaway Bay Dining

Breezes Runaway Bay now offers in room service for continental breakfast available between the hours of 7:30-10:00 a.m. each morning. Breakfast items include orange juice, Coffee, Tea and breakfast pastries.

For dinner you have a choice of a buffet dinner at the Beach Terrace; dining in our Italian restaurant Pastafari, where the dress is casually elegant; the Starlight Grill for sumptuous Mongolian Stir-Fry cuisine; or enjoy spicy Jamaican dishes at the Reggae Cafe located right on the beach.

Don't forget about our 24-Hour Snack Attack, our platter of sandwiches, fruits and pastries, available at the front desk.

MUNASAN
Innovative Japanese fare in a casually elegant atmosphere with a sushi bar and Teppanyaki stations, where chefs prepare dishes to order.

REGGAE CAFE
Beachfront dining with an authentic taste of Jamaica. Serving traditional Jamaican favorites and Caribbean fare. SuperSnacks offered: burgers, fries, Jerk chicken, hot dogs and refreshments from 11:00 am - 5:30 pm.

STARLIGHT GRILL
Opens 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Cuisine cooked as you like for those who prefer to dine under the stars. Open for dinner and midnight snacks. Open 11:30pm to 1:30am.

PASTAFARI
Casually elegant, air-conditioned Italian with antipasto bar (open for dinner only 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday. Long pants required). Reservations Required.

BEACH TERRACE
This poolside dining restaurant featuring al fresco, casual buffet dining (open for breakfast, lunch and dinner) with themed nights such as Beach Party Night on Mondays and Jamaican Night on Wednesdays. Also open for the Midnight Buffet.

Watersports
Windsurfing, sunfish sailing, kayaks, water-skiing, Hobie Cat rides, snorkeling, and scuba diving (all with instructor and lessons). Beach and pool volleyball and Olympics. Glass-bottomed boat rides. We offer windsurfing lessons free of cost at Breezes Runaway Bay Resort & Golf Club.

Landsports
Basketball, Bicycling, nature walks, cricket and beach soccer (all with instructions).; four tennis courts, lit for night play, with resident pro. Our exciting circus workshop features flying and swinging trapeze, trampoline clinics, and juggling. Available Monday to Saturday.


Beaches/Pools/Jacuzzi
There is a large expanse of private white sand beach and three freshwater pools at Breezes Runaway Bay Resort & Golf Club - a new pool located in front of the new oceanfront room block, another along the eastern beach with a swim-up bar and misting pool. There are 3 Jacuzzis: one located near the beach, one close to the games room for relaxing after a workout, and the third is nestled in our tropical landscaping.

Fitness Center
Stationary bicycles, stairclimber, treadmill, Nautilus-style equipment, free weights, aerobics classes, aquacise classes fitness instructor.

Indoor Activities
Our games room has backgammon, cards, dominoes, pool table, skittle table, table tennis and much more. Be creative with our Arts & Crafts coordinator in our own craft workshop.

SuperClubs Golf Club Runaway Bay
SuperClubs' own 18-hole, PGA-quality golf course is adjacent to the hotel at Breezes Runaway Bay Resort & Golf Club at Runaway Bay. Learn how to play golf at our golf school; our golf director and several professionals are there to assist you. For beginners to advanced golfers, approximately 20 hours of instruction are available each week. The school has a lecture room with video equipment, a 10-bay golf range, large practice green, sandtrap and chipping area. Green fees and golf school instruction are all included in your stay at Breezes Runaway Bay Resort & Golf Club (Clubs, carts and mandatory caddies are not included).

Scuba Diving
* We are a P.A.D.I. Gold Palm Resort 5 Star Operation and Instructors Development Course (IDC) facility
* We have 3 P.A.D.I. certified instructors and 4 Divemasters.
* All day dives included, two tank dives for certified divers.
* All dives are only approximately a 5 - 10 minute boat ride from our shore.
* Divers need to sign up one day in advance for all dives.
* A sea boat (36 x 13) ft. Total diver guest capacity - 15 persons.

Certified Divers Requirements
* Presentation of valid Certification Card.
* Log Book with (2-3) dives logged within the last (6-8) months.
* In lieu of a logbook, divers will be required to do a check out in the pool at 2:00 PM the day before they wish to dive.

A Look at our Dive Sites
* THE CANYON: Where two vertical walls face each other and form a gorge approx. 150 ft. It is really breathtaking! This one is only 200 yards from the beach. Sea Turtles and a school of over 100 Bermuda chubs!
* THE WRECK: This is a steel hulled vessel, which is approx. 140 ft. long in 50 ft. of water. The Reggae queen as it was formally known was once the host of many Jamaican reggae parties.
* THE NURSERY: This dive site is between 25 ft. - 30 ft. of water. It's Floral and Fauna reminds one of an undersea garden, filled with multicolored soft corals. Fish feeding is a must here!
* PUBLIC BEACH FLATS: Acres of reef any where from 40ft. - 50 ft. deep, lots and lots of coral and fish, some species of coral 6 ft. tall. See turtles too! Great for drift diving.

Plane Wrecks
* July 1999 3 airplanes were sunk at a depth of 75ft, 1 fuselage of a DC 6 and two twin engine cesnas which are embraced by a beautiful wall known as Pocket's Reef

Discover Scuba Courses
For just $70 (USD) per person, our P.A.D.I. trained instructors will have you diving in just a couple of hours! The P.A.D.I. Discover Scuba Diving Course schedule and availability varies by resort. All you have to do is show up at the shop, join our one hour program, and then relax in the pool while we teach you some basic scuba safety skills. Once you feel confident, it's off to the sparkling clear fish feeding sanctuary. An experience to cherish forever!

GET P.A.D.I CERTIFIED
Courses Include:
* All scuba gear (tanks, BCD, weights, mask, fins and regulator)
* All paperwork: P.A.D.I, open water manual, dive tables, PIC envelope and log book, training course theory and a written multiple choice exam.
* Confined Water Training (in pool) for four days. The course cost $320 US.
* Four open water scuba dives, in sea, is available for few hours each day, either morning or evening.
* Personalized instruction payable at resort.

Scuba Referrals Add a Twist
Referrals are written when a person has completed the training course and pool portion of a scuba certification with their local dive center, and wishes to complete their open water certification.

We'll provide everything you need to make your special day all you've dreamed it could be. And the best part is, just like virtually everything else at SuperClubs, a picturesque wedding in paradise is included, with our compliments, as a gift to the happy couple.

We'll provide everything you will need to begin your new life together. Our Wedding Planner, wise in the ways of love, will take you on a tour of the Resort so you can select the perfect spot and then will handle all the details so that the big day unfolds flawlessly.

NEW BEACH WEDDING CHAPEL
At Breezes Runaway Bay - For couples wanting the most picturesque venue for their nuptials, Breezes Runaway Bay has created a new Wedding Chapel right on the beach. The Victorian inspired chapel provides the perfect setting, with spectacular ocean and beach views, for wedding or vow renewal ceremonies. With space for a number of guests and their entire bridal party, couples will enjoy beautiful memories and perfect photographs of their special day.

Two exotic wedding gazebos: our tranquil seaside gazebo and the garden gazebo set among the aromatic tropical foliage. The hotel offers complimentary weddings which include a wedding cake, champagne, marriage license, non-denominational marriage officer and flowers. Witnesses are provided on request. Paperwork is handled by us.

These fees are net and non refundable and must be paid within 10 days (Jamaica and Bahamas only) of the confirmation date (the date when booking was made). If payment is not made within 10 days of the confirmation date, the wedding will be canceled (Jamaica and Bahamas only).

*Free Night Offer: Not valid for SuperClubs resorts in the Dominican Republic. Proof of marriage (marriage certificate and date) required. Offer is valid for travel now through December 31, 2008. Reservations must be booked by December 31, 2007. Six (6) nights minimum paid stay required. Subject to availability and may not be combined with any other offer or discount. Subject to resort verification of wedding or honeymoon documentation and must be used within 30 days of celebrated occasion. Blackout dates may apply.

Free night will be deducted upon receipt of the following:

- A copy of the marriage license is required. If the wedding takes place at a SuperClubs Resort, a paid wedding certificate or vow renewal certificate is required.

- If marriage license or certificate is not available at time of booking, then it must be presented to the resort upon check in. Before final payment, a wedding invitation or announcement may be used as temporary proof of wedding date.
Prices quoted for services not included in the hotel’s wedding package are provided by third parties, including agencies of local government, and may be subject to increases without prior notification. Such increases will be automatically passed on to the client.
