Valentin Imperial Maya was perfect, very well kept grounds and the staff couldn't have been better, everyone had a smile on there face the whole time and helped you with anything you would need. The beach was gorgeous along with both pools. The food was spectacular, they give you so many options to chose from that you would never go hungry or get sick of the food. I liked the different themed restaurants it was fun to eat something inspired from different countries every night. I will be planning to have my wedding and honeymoon there and I would definitely reccomend Berwick to anyone who is planning a vacation, they took care of everything that had to do with the trip and made it easy and stress-free!

As a guest of the Valentin Imperial Maya, why not treat your palate to a culinary adventure as well? Enjoy your culinary experiences in a modern and trendy atmosphere with dishes crafted by internationally renowned chefs. Start your day with a tasty breakfast in our Beachfront à la carte restaurant, where you can also enjoy lunch. For casual dining, our main buffet restaurant is available for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Or you may select any of our seven à la carte restaurants: Italian, French, Japanese, Mexican, Steak House, Fish & Seafood and Lobster House. Reservations are never required at Valentin Imperial Maya. Dress code is required.

Valentin Imperial Maya is the place where all-inclusive luxury means the freedom to enjoy it in your own way; as a result reservations will never be required in any of our restaurants. Simply choose a restaurant you would like to go to and it will be our pleasure to serve you anytime, provided it is within hours of operation. At five of our restaurants we include a sample menu in seven stages with its suggested matching wine, carefully selected by our executive chef and house sommelier. All restaurants offer different diet food options, (vegetarian, low fat, etc.)

Restaurant Le Marché
Specializing in international dishes, the enchanting “Le Marche” opens its doors for dinner at 6:00 pm Because of its spaciousness, it is an excellent choice for dinner with a group of friends. This restaurant also offers different theme nights, however we always have a shortened menu available in addition to the theme being offered. Please check with your concierge for information on the weekly program.

Valentin Imperial Maya - the resort, staff, food, pools and beach were wonderful. The staff did everything to insure the stay was wonderful. We also recieved a free upgrade to gold. Sweet! Travel was well arranged and simple to follow, neatly tucked away in a easy to follow book. For total relaxation this is the place. everything you would need or want at this resort. Super clean 5 of 5 star rated. The only draw back was the American express travel company. they were seldom at the resort so setting up excursions was hard. Other than that the vacation was wonderful. Thank you Berwick Travel!

Valentin Imperial Maya was great. Facilities were impressive, also well-maintained. Food was very good, excellent preparation. Staff were polite and accomodating. Beach was the best section of the Gulf I've been too. In comparison to the Occidental Grand at Xcaret and the Ocean Coral y Turquesa, the Imperial Maya was the superior resort in all aforementioned categories. Thanks again, Steve, we'll be back to Berwick in the future!

Valentin Imperial Maya was amazing! The resort was well kept and attended to. Had no issues with the staff, they actually made it more enjoyable as well. Every member made us feel at home and at times felt like we were hanging out with the family. The beach was beautiful. Water was rough on occasion, but they had sail boats/kayaks to entertain you also if the water was too rough to swim. Beach activities were there as well. The pool was the best so far! They had 2 swim up bars and room was available to order a drink at all times. Every restaurant was delicious. Had to wait no longer than 10 minutes for a table even without reservations. Definitely would recommend Valentin Imperial Maya to everyone!!!

Valentin Imperial Maya was amazing the staff was awesome and super nice every second of everyday. The food was great we ate very well when we were there. The pools were perfect great swim up bars were great. The employees were great from the get go from the time we were picked up from the airport to the time we were dropped off we never had a rude or not happy employee. We left one day to go to Playa del Carmen and after we left we knew there was no reason to leave again because our resort had everything we needed. Great people great food great resort.

We wanted to thank you for arranging this absolutely marvelous vacation at the Valentin Imperial Maya. Without doubt it's the BEST resort/hotel that Terri and I have ever stayed at. The service was fantastic. The staff was always pleasant and accommodating. Ask for anything, and chances are you'd get it right away. The rooms were very, very nice. Clean. Well-cleaned every day. They would even refresh the towels in the evening if you were out of the room if they could sneak in to turn down the bed.
And the food: the king of England doesn't eat any better. Great variety. Fantastic quality.
Activities: they had something for everyone all day long, from just sitting around a number of pools reading - the guests at this resort are real readers! - that were always clean, to many other activities people could take advantage of during the day and the evening.
They have live entertainment every night. For young people, they have a live, modern music band that on some days played until 2:00 a.m. Our building was a little too close to the band and our room faced it - we usually are in bed by 11:00 p.m. - but it was impossible to begrudge the many young people who were there having a great time. The only thing was we were jealous because we couldn't afford something like the Valentin when we were in our 20's!!!
The beach was great as were the swimming pools. The beaches were cleaned regularly. One really nice thing about the beach is the public beach stretched for nearly a mile up the coast. Terri and I very much enjoyed walking it. Most people did not take advantage of it, staying closer to the hotel's beach area. That actually made it even nicer because we had so much of it to ourselves.
They had long hours at the restaurants to accommodate early eaters and late eaters. We heard that room service was great although we didn't try it ourselves. Denny and Julie did, and seemed to like it a lot.
If we get to go to the Yucatan peninsula again, I know we would want to return to the Valentin because it was so great. Terri had me make sure to keep the guide they give out when you arrive so that we can use it for planning the next time we go.
Again, thanks for arranging this fantastic trip. The best vacation of our lives!

The Valentin Imperial Maya was very nice and quite large. Check in was efficient, the pool was HUGE, and the beach was pretty. They could use more palapas - if you didn't claim one by 6:30 am, you didn't get one.
The food was good. The french restaurant was our favorite. Ask for waiter Samuel Garcia. He is wonderful.
We were in building three. It was the perfect location for us. Close to the pool, bars, and restaurants. I would recommend this resort to others. I have no real complaints about it. I couldn't help compare the Valentin to Iberostar Maya. I think they are pretty close but would choose Iberostar the next time.

The Valentin Imperial Maya is very nice resort. I go to Playa del Carmen area at least once or twice a year, I stay at 4-5 star resorts, and the Valentin Imperial Maya was excellent. I was very thankful that our room was upgraded, I know Steve had sent them an e-mail letting them know I was down there for my birthday and they came thru...Great beautiful resort with choice of different restaurants and also different pools.

I liked Berwick because there was a fast response, not only was I reached by e-mail I received a call and the main thing is you guys beat all the prices...keep up the good work!

We were greeted at Valentin Imperial Maya with champagne and smiles. The Golden Junior Suite was huge, beautiful and very clean!! Two flat panel TVs, two balconies and a jacuzzi for two that was perfect. The beds were the most comfortable we've had in all of our stays in Mexico.
Food was excellent with 6 ala carte restaurant options each night. Being a party of 6, we waited well over an hour each night to be seated. It did not seem to matter what time we aimed for either. This did not seem to be as much of a problem for smaller groups or couples.
There were bars everywhere. The restaurant servers, bartenders and room staff were great - Irving & German were awesome!!!! They seemed to enjoy their jobs and do their best to make you happy.
Valentin's main pool is huge, clean and beautiful with plenty going on to keep you busy all day if you choose. The meandering pool by our room was much quieter and less crowded if that is what you prefer. There was also a 3rd pool, the activities pool for volleyball etc.
The beach was clean & beautiful. It was windy everyday so the water was rough and swimming was not recommended. But the beach bar was always fun!!!
The layout of Valentin Imperial Maya is nice and spread out. The grounds are beautiful, impeccably landscaped and manicured so walking around is enjoyable. Nevermind the need to work off the extra calories we consumed while we were there!!! Our rooms were at the furthest point from all the restaurants as well as the main lobby but like I said we enjoyed (needed) the walks.
Clean.......everything is kept so clean which is not easy considering everything is open to the outdoors.

There are so many great things about Valentin Imperial Maya that I would like to mention but I could go on for a long time...... The biggest negative for us was that dinner was an all night affair. We would hang out at the courtyard/bar waiting to be buzzed for dinner which was usually fun in itself. Dinner was still very good every night but it took so long that we missed the shows some nights because we were still eating. It would have been nice to have one non-ala carte restaurant option for dinner.
Lunches by the beach were great and breakfast at La Marche were great too with Mimosas and/or Bloody Marys always calling our names! The work out room is small with not much to offer but instead try an early morning run around the resort. Keep your eyes open as there is always plenty of wildlife around to enjoy!!

Overall Valentin Imperial Maya is really wonderful and the few negatives mentioned here were not real showstoppers at all. I do highly recommend this resort.
