Food & Drink
Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres has 8 restaurants, and you don't need reservations at most of them. The main buffet covers international dishes with live cooking stations. For something more focused, there's Japanese teppanyaki with a sushi bar, Italian with a terrace, Mexican, French fine dining, a steakhouse, and a casual spot right by the beach. You'll also find a coffee shop and ice cream parlor when you need something quick or sweet.
The 10 bars are spread across the property in pretty different settings. There are 2 swim-up pool bars, a rooftop bar at the infinity pool, a lobby bar for pre-dinner drinks, a piano bar, and a sports bar that switches to disco mode at night. There's even a bar inside the bowling alley. All of them pour top-shelf spirits, wine, and beer without counting drinks.

The location is partially protected by Isla Mujeres just offshore, which blocks much of the wave action and makes conditions gentler than Cancun's Hotel Zone. This protected position also means Costa Mujeres sees less sargassum seaweed than other parts of Mexico and the Caribbean, though no beach is completely immune during peak seaweed season. The shoreline is clean and wide, with included loungers, umbrellas, and beachside drink service.
The resort has 5 pools spread across the property. There's a wave pool that simulates surf conditions, a lazy river for floating, and 2 rooftop infinity pools with direct ocean views.
