Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya Resort
Scheduled to open in December 2022, Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya Resort (formerly Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun) is a glamourous adults-only hotel located on a remote stretch in the Riviera Maya. The property is surrounded by lush mangroves and instantly transports travelers to a vacation state of mind with modern design elements and a swoon-worthy white sand beach. Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya Resort features a total of 291 suites and is located just six miles from Playa del Carmen.
“We are excited to, once again, partner with Hyatt and expand our footprint in Mexico’s Riviera Maya region. From inception more than nine years ago in Cancun, the Hyatt Zilara experience has been the standard-bearer for what an all-inclusive experience could be and should be for adult guests,” said Fernando Mulet, executive vice president & chief development officer for Playa Hotels & Resorts.

As for entertainment, the resort will boast four-tired infinity pools, one large whirlpool (accommodating up to 30 guests) and a thrilling waterslide that will take guests from the main pool to the ocean.
“AMR Collection™ is thrilled with the addition of Secrets® Impression Isla Mujeres to bring the luxury resort brand and its second-ever Impression concept to the island paradise within Mexico’s popular Yucatan Peninsula,” said Javier Coll, group president of global business development at Apple Leisure Group®. “Demand for unforgettable vacation experiences in settings that prioritize luxury, personalization and service is at a high.
